NAHANT TENNIS CLUB

Join us for tennis from May to November, and for platform tennis in the fall, winter, and spring.​

We’re located 30 minutes from Boston on the scenic Nahant peninsula, where tennis was first played in the USA in 1874.

TENNIS CLUB MEMBERSHIP

We have 4 well-maintained, lighted clay tennis courts with no court fees. Other perks are regular socials, tournaments, a ball machine, and a low membership fee.

 

The 2026 Tennis season begins in May.

JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP

Our summer program is designed for kids ages 5 & up of all skill levels to inspire the next generation of tennis players. Register your child now!

PLATFORM TENNIS MEMBERSHIP

We have 2 lighted platform courts and a warming hut with deck. An excellent winter activity for family fun and friendly competition, with weeknight doubles groups.

First US lawn tennis game

150th Anniversary
of Lawn Tennis

On July 14th, 2024, we celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the first US lawn tennis game, played in 1874, on the lawn of the Appleton estate on Swallow Cave Road, Nahant!
